Sanjay Kapoor born 17 October 1965 in Mumbai,Son of film producer, Surinder Kapoor, he is the younger brother of actor Anil Kapoor and producer Boney Kapoor As a Bollywood actor and producer Sanjay Kapoor began his career opposite Tabu in the film Prem (1995) but  It was Raja (1995) opposite Madhuri Dixit that brought him box office success. Though Raja was a hero-centric and successful film, yet Madhuri Dixit stole the show totally and it did not bring much offers to Sanjay Kapoor.

This was followed by many films which flopped or did reasonably well at the box office. Though not as successful as his brother, Sanjay Kapoor has managed to get positive reviewes from the critics and audiences. Sanjay Kapoor  has also given critically acclaimed performances as a villain playing the obsessive psychotic husband of Esha Deol in Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe which was a hit and he was playing a terrorist in the film Qayamat: City Under Threat which was also a hit.

Sanjay Kapoor  is married to model and jewellry designer, Maheep SandhuThey have two kids-Shania and Jahann Inspite of acting in many films Sanjay could not succeed in Bollywood like his brothers.
