Ritesh Deshmukh born 17 December 1978 in Latur city in Marathwada is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films.He is the son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, the Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises,
Government of India, and the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra.Ritesh had completed his schooling from G.D. Somaya High School and then turned to Kamala Raheja School of Architecture in Mumbai.

After his graduation he starting working in New York and partly joined acting studies at the Lee Stratberg Theatre Institute. This young Actor apart having a good knowledge in Architect had made his own mark as one of the most
dependable supporting actors in the Indian film Industry. Ritesh Deshmukh  made his debut in 2003 with Tujhe Meri Kasam co-starring Genelia D’souza which performed average at the box office. He then played the lead role in Out of Control.

He became a known face after the 2004 comedy Masti, again co-starring Genelia, which established him as an supporting actor. Later, Ritesh Deshmukh appeared in a special role in Bardaasht. Ritesh has mainly taken on comic roles and a few serious roles. He has appeared in several comedy films
including Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Malamaal Weekly and Apna Sapna Money Money. He appeared in a supporting role in Bluffmaster! with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. He was also seen in Ram Gopal Verma’s Darna Zaroori Hai.

Ritesh Deshmukh appeared in Sajid Khan’s directorial debut Heyy Babyy, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan, which was a huge hit and is his most commercially successful film to date. He also appeared in the comedy film Dhamaal in 2007. Through out his work in films like ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, ‘Masti’, ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’, ‘Bluffmaster’ and ‘Malamaal Weekly’ Ritesh Deshmukh had proved his talent and hardwork, inspite having a better political relationship.
