Rahul Khanna is the son of Bollywood matinee idol & politician, Vinod Khanna, and his younger brother is Bollywood actor, Akshaye Khanna.Rahul Khanna born and raised in Mumbai, and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Rahul began his career as a VJ (video jockey) with MTV Asia in 1994. Throughout his 4-year stint he enjoyed immense popularity, an enormous fan following across Asia and consistently glowing media coverage.He made his feature film debut in Deepa Mehta’s 1947 Earth, alongside Aamir Khan .

His performance garnered him several awards including the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award for Best Debut. Rahul Khanna has since appeared inMehta’s Bollywood/Hollywood (2003).Rahul’s mainstream Bollywood films include Elaan and Raqeeb. His international credits include The Emperor’s Club with Kevin Kline. Rahul Khanna has also hosted numerous events like the IIFA Awards, the Miss India pageant, the Screen Awards, the Stardust (magazine) Awards, the Miss India Worldwide pageant, Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief show at Mumbai Fashion Week and the GQ (India) Men of the Year Awards 2009 & 2010, Teacher’s Achievement Awards 2008 & 2010.

Rahul has been associated with several brands including Toyota, Lay’s Chips, Pepsi, DTC ,Trent (Westside), Tommy Hilfiger, Jaypee Group’s Jaypee Greens and Audi. Rahul Khanna has appeared in a PETA India campaign to protect elephants. Although Rahul Khanna had not done too many commercial movie yet his kind of actors are very few in our industry.
