Neil Nitin Mukesh Chand Mathur known professionally as Neil Nitin Mukesh or Neil Mukesh, is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films.Neil Nitin Mukesh, with his dashing good looks and golden curls, is the grandson of yesteryears singer Mukesh born 15 January 1982 was named by Lata Mangeshkar after astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, After schooling at Greenlawns High School in Mumbai, Neil Nitin graduated from HR College with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. He did a 4-month workshop with Kishore Namit Kapoor and also at Anupam Kher’s institute during his college vacation.

He also assisted Aditya Chopra in his film Mujhse Dosti Karoge while still in college. As a child, Neil Nitin Mukesh appeared in Vijay (1988) and Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni (1989) when he was around 4 years old. He played the role of Govinda (actor) as a child in Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni. Neil Nitin Mukesh did receive offers as a lead actor earlier, but as he did not want to debut with a love story, he chose to wait. Then Sriram Raghavan offered him Johnny Gaddaar, whose script he was very impressed with, as it demanded an ensemble cast.

Neil Nitin made his movie debut with the 2007 crime thriller Johnny Gaddaar His next films were Aa Dekhen Zara, New York and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail. He also appeared in Yash Raj’s Lafangey Parindey. He was praised for his his latest film 7 Khoon Maaf. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, it starred Priyanka Chopra alongside John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and Annu Kapoor.

Priyanka played the role of a woman who has seven husbands of which the youngest one is being played by Mukesh. Neil Nitin Mukesh is often compared to Hrithik Roshan because he is tall and lean with sharp features
