Himanshu Malik is an Indian actor and a former model, who works in Bollywood films.

Malik was born in a Hindu Jat family of Bulandshahar.

Himanshu Malik stormed the fashion industry when he modeled for Vimal and Raymonds and these advertisement earned him instant recognization in a short spate of time. He has the kind of face which has a lasting effect on screen and that’s why he is much in demand.

Himanshu Malik made his film debut with a role in Mira Nair’s Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996) and also appeared in Ram Gopal Varma’s Jungle in 2000. However, his big break came as a supporting actor in Tum Bin (2001), leading to work in several small films. His work was appreciated in this film His next big feature was Khwahish (2003), playing the lead opposite Mallika Sherawat, notable for its sensuality and kissing scenes.

Himanshu Malik was also seen in the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s chartopping video ‘Afreen’ with the sensuous Lisa Ray.

Himanshu Malik is often called the handsome model with the angry looks. He has got biceps to die for and has one of the best maintained bodies in the business. His clean cut good looks also is a big hit with all photographers.

Himanshu Malik practices adventurous sports like paragliding, flying, and scuba diving. He, along with partner Manish Singhal have started a paragliding school near Delhi.
