Harman Baweja was born on 13th November 1980 in Chandigarh. Both his parents are Jat Sikhs. His father, Harry Baweja is a renowned director, while his mother, Pammi Baweja, is a producer.

Harman Baweja, shot into the lime light even before the release of his first movie for being Priyanka Chopra’s boyfriend.

Harman Baweja did his schooling in Jamnabhai Narsee School and attended some acting classes at the Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Acting Institute. His dancing, his toned physique and his resemblance to Hrithik Roshan.

Harman Baweja’s debut film, the sci-fi “Love Story 2050”, was written and directed by his father and produced by his mother. It was released at the same time as Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan’s debut film “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na” that fared better at the box office. “Love Story 2050” was a box office disaster.

After the disappointing Love Story 2050 both Victory and What’sYour Raashee? has helped Harman to get back as an promising actor. Harman Baweja become the first Bollywood star to do a tribute to Michael Jackson at a WAVE PearlsEvent award in February 2010.

Harman Baweja has received good reviews for his performance in Victory (2009), which is a remake of a Telugu film Bommarillu with Amrita Rao as his co-star.
